» Casino Edge Of Roulette

In the world of casino games, roulette is a classic. In any full service casino in the United States besides blackjack and craps you'll find roulette which is more popular in France where it is historically a cultural part of the gambling scene. Roulette was popular in Europe since the 18th century and today it is played online all over the world.Roulette was played in Paris since 1796 and nowadays it almost has't changed. Roulette comes from multiple other games. To make a modern roulette game an Italian ball game called "biribi" and another wheel game that involved colors but not numbers were combined. In 1720 in England people began to play "Roly-poly" which consisted of black and white slots. Thus, roulette is a hybrid of both birib and Roly-poly.To understand a game is to enjoy it.Only in case you understand game you can enjoy it. And although knowledge of the game won't change your strategy or your chances of winning, it will increase the amount of pleasure you take away from the tables.

In roulette everything depends on luck. The only thing you can do from a strategic point of view is to try to keep the house edge to a minimum. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge.
The 'surrender' option is the first strategy to know. In Roulette, this rule applies to outside bets which pay even money only, such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. If the balls lands on the 0 or the 00 you only lose half your bet, rather than the whole betting. This affects the house edge considerably; after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Even though the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, you are improving your odds substantially by finding a table with the ‘surrender' rule.
Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better that you look for tables with only one 0 - European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. The house edge is reduced from 5.26% to 2.7% when you play on a European table. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the ‘online world’ gambling they are just a click away.

It is very difficult to release the ball with the same speed, but some dealers can do this. It is called a dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If you watch the game and notice that the number has repeated within 100 spins you must use this chance as you are more likely to deal with a biased wheel and turn it to your advantage. A biased wheel is one of only two true opportunities to overcome the casino's advantage. There are special chips for playing the game of Roulette. The chips have to be bought before playing the game. Don’t forget to exchange you Roulette chips for regular casino chips before you leave the Roulette table. When choosing a bet, try to avoid 5 number bets as the payback with these bets is much lower. 7,89 is the house edge of 5 number bets. If you choose between European and American Roulette, then play European Roulette as here you have more chances of winning. If you play the European Roulette and make the even outside bet use the Surrender option. When playing any game you must always stick to your own bank roll.
The roulette player should be bold. This is a strategy where your goal is to double your money. In a negative expectation game, your best chance of doubling your money is to bet it all once on red or black, or even or odd, and cross your fingers. You'll have a 47% or so chance of doubling your money.]
Remember that there is no any roulette strategy. So don't pay money for it. Set a goal before you start gambling. Stop gambling if your goal is reached.

Roulette is a wheel game. The wheel of the roulette is spinned on an axis which is placed in a bowl. The wheel consists of 37 or 38 slots depending on the type of roulette:American roulette wheel contains 38 slots,European - 37.The numbers are either red or black. The 0 or 00 are green.8 players can participate the game at the same time.Accordind to the rules the croupier spins the wheel of roulette in one direction and then rolls the ball around the edge of the wheel in the opposite direction. After the ball had fallen at one of the slots and stopped, the croupier announces the winners. You are to guess the number of the slot in which the ball will stop and to make the right bet. When you start the the game at the roulette table, you have to buy chips from the croupier which differ from all other chips in the casino. Each player has chips of his own color that's why the croupier knows who to pay off at the end of each spin. When the croupier announced "No more bets", hlayers cannot make bets. After the result of the spin is determined, the croupier puts a marker on top of the winning number on the table. The marker is placed on top of the chips, if there are bets on that number. The croupier sweeps off the table all losing bets and after that the winning bets are paid off.
In some casinos there exist some special rules.

In Prison/En prison
When the ball falls on zero, red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets will not be collected by the croupier - instead they will have to stay on the table - in other words they are in prison. In the next spin the players have a chance of winning their original bet back - if their bet wins they will get their original bet back but with no additional win. If the ball should land on zero once again the bets will remain in prison one more spin and so on. In prison rule is a considerable advantage for players because the house edge is reduced to 1.35%.

La Partage
When the ball falls on zero, red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets will not be fully collected by the croupier. Only half of the players’ bets will be collected - the rest will be returned to the players. As well as the In Prison rule, the La Partage rule also reduces the casinos edge to only 1.35%.

1. Never jump from table to table as you might leave your luck behind you.
2. The following strategy will work for sure: when you see your favourite number hit at least 3 times, then change the number and play for like 5 spins to get the change.
3. Never gamble if you are angry or in a bad mood, because this karma will follow you in the casino and you will not win anything. But when you are happy and in a good mood casino is a place where you have to go.
4. If you fight with your woman or man at the table t is a sign of bad luck. So make sure you don’t.
5. Choose numbers that feel lucky to you – everyone has a lucky number, go with it!

A well-known betting system in roulette is the Martingale system. It varies greatly. The main idea of the system is that when you win, you pocket your bet. But when you lose, you double the size of your previous bet.By doing this in case you win, you get back your previous loss and one more unit. And so on.
The Martingale System is effective only if you have an infinite bankroll and no betting limits.
The d'Alembert system is also rather popular. The system is based on the assumption that after a win you are less likely to win again. So after a win, you subtract a chip from your bet. The d'Alembert system also assumes that you are less likely to lose after a losing spin, so in that case, you add a chip to your bet. The fact that the roulette wheel has no memory and each spin is an independent trial with exactly the same odds of a win or loss is the previous spin is a weak point of the system.

There are 36 numbers, which are divided among red or black pockets on the Roulette wheel. The pocket is the container that a ball may come to rest in. The Roulette wheel also has on or two green pockets. The green pockets has numbers 0 and 00 or only 00, depending on the kind of Roulette.
When all bets are made the dealer spins the wheel counter clockwise and then the ball is released along the track. As the wheel loses velocity the ball is pulled down off of the track and bounces around until it settles into a pocket.

» Have you heard the story of the craziest gambler? In 1994 he decided to fulfill his dream in the casino of Las Vegas on the Roulette wheel. Chris had saved $220,000 over a three year period, and wanted to put it all on one spin of the wheel. It took him much time to find in Las Vegas a casino, in which he could place such a bet. With refusals from most of the major casinos, Chris was referred to Binion’s Horseshoe Club. The maximum table bet on red/black bet in Horseshoe Club was $100,000, but they met him halfway and let him make this bet. The casino also agreed to block out the double-zero on the wheel as this didn’t exist in the European version of the game that Chris was used to playing. Chris placed all his money on red. The casino and the dealer agreed to a few practice spins to ensure that full fairness for everyone concerned, and then the big spin came. The ball was spinned and it landed in 7,red. Chris won an amount equal to his bet and he promised never again to come to the casino.
