Bonus Rapid Roulette
Roulette is a game of chance. The only thing you can do from a strategic point of view is to try to keep the house edge to a minimum. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge.
The 'surrender' option is the first strategy to know. This rule is applied to outside bets such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. If the balls lands on the 0 or the 00 you only lose half your bet, rather than the whole betting. The house edge considerably depends on this;after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Even though the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, you are improving your odds substantially by finding a table with the ‘surrender' rule.
Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better that you look for tables with only one 0 - European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. With a European table to play on you are reducing the house edge from 5.26% to 2.7%. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the ‘online world’ gambling they are just a click away.
Roulette is the most popular of casino games. Luxury, passion and simple rules make roulette so popular in the world of game. If you translate the word of “Roulette” from French you will get “small wheel”. Blaise Pascal invented the original version of the game in the 17th century. The single zero Roulette was introduced in 1842 by Frenchmen Francois and Louis Blank. The game wasn't then very popular in France as any form of gambling was considered illegal, but Roulette was well-known in Germany and Hamburg. Later the game of Roulette was brought back to France and the Prince of Monaco loved this game a lot. In the 1800s the game of Roulette was introduced to the US public. Some additional features were deleted and the game got a double zero back. The game of Roulette attracted a lot of American gamblers.
Roulette is a wheel game. The wheel of the roulette is spinned on an axis which is placed in a bowl. The wheel consists of 37 or 38 slots depending on the type of roulette:American roulette wheel contains 38 slots,European - 37.The numbers can be black or red. The 0 or 00 are green.8 players can participate the game at the same time. The rules suggest that the croupier spins the wheel of roulette in one direction and then rolls the ball around the edge of the wheel in the opposite direction. After the ball had fallen at one of the slots and stopped, the croupier announces the winners. The aim of roulette is to guess the number of the slot in which the ball will stop and to make the right bet. When you start the the game at the roulette table, you have to buy chips from the croupier which differ from all other chips in the casino. Each player has chips of his own color that's why the croupier knows who to pay off at the end of each spin. A player is allowed to bet until the croupier announces, "No more bets."After the ball had stopped, the croupier puts a marker on top of the winning number on the table. The marker is placed on top of the chips, if there are bets on that number. Then all losing bets are swept off the table before the winning bets are paid off.
We can find special rules for some casinos.
In Prison/En prison
When the ball falls on zero, red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets will not be collected by the croupier - instead they will have to stay on the table - in other words they are in prison. In the next spin the players have a chance of winning their original bet back - if their bet wins they will get their original bet back but with no additional win. If the ball should land on zero once again the bets will remain in prison one more spin and so on. As this special rule reduced the casinos edge, it's greatly to the advantage for the players.
La Partage
In case the ball stops at zero slot, the croupier will not fully collect red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets. Only half of the players’ bets will be collected - the rest will be returned to the players. As well as the In Prison rule, the La Partage rule also reduces the casinos edge to only 1.35%.
The wheel is not well balanced.
Of course there always exists a chance that the wheel is not balanced well. That’s why there are unfair gamblers who use it if they notice that the wheel is unbalanced. The only problem is that today it is impossible to find and unbalanced wheel. The story of Jaggers is well-known among casinos, that’s why they examine the wheels all the time. The casino staff examine the wheel every time before gamblers begin to play. In the case of an unbalanced wheel they recalibrate it at once.
2. Another myth is that as more spins occur, players have a better opportunity of hitting a number that has not been hit yet.
It is not so. Every number has the same chance of hitting-38:1. If the ball hasn’t landed in this very number for a long period of time it doesn’t mean that it is more likely to do it in a short while. Roulette is a pure game of chance. With every spin the chances of hitting any number are 38:1.
