» Bonus French Roulette

Roulette is the best-known symbol of casino. Luxury, passion and simple rules make roulette so popular in the world of game. If you translate the word of “Roulette” from French you will get “small wheel”. Blaise Pascal invented the original version of the game in the 17th century. Later the single zero Roulette appeared. It was introduced by Francois and Louis Blanc. The game wasn't then very popular in France as any form of gambling was considered illegal, but Roulette was well-known in Germany and Hamburg. Later Francois and his son Camille were responsible for bringing the game of Roulette back to southern France for the Prince of Monaco, Charles III. The game of Roulette was brought to the USA at the beginning of the 19th century. The improvements were deleted, and a double "00" returned. The game became popular in the old west of America.

There are 36 numbers, which are divided among red or black pockets on the Roulette wheel. The pocket is an area, in which the ball can land. In addition to the 36 red and black pockets, there are either 1 or 2 green pockets, containing the number zero and double zero (00) on the roulette wheel.
A roulette dealer (usually referred to as "croupier") spins the wheel counter clockwise and releases what is usually a plastic ball along the track that runs along the top of the wheel's cavity. The wheel loses speed and as a result the ball comes down from the track, bounces a little and then lands in one of the pockets.

» Do you believe that a person can sell everything he has and put all his money on a single Roulette spin. The very thought of it might probably fills you with equal measures of excitement and fear – the very same feelings experienced by 32 year-old Ashley Revell, from London, when he did the unthinkable! Revell walked into a Vegas casino with $132,000 in his pocket, raised through the sale of his house and all his belongings, and proceeded to place all the money on Red. Watched by a few good friends and family, all with their hearts in their mouths, the incredible happened when the roulette ball stuck on Red, netting a staggering $270,600! Revell himself admitted that seconds before placing all his money on red, he thought about placing it on black.
